Oxford Day 3 (15 Aug)

Bit of a lazy day on the whole. Slept far too late, eggs and bangers for breakfast. Drove up to to collect our expected package from Matte. Despite the late breakfast, we enjoyed some steak and kidney pudding for lunch with him. Means we got a bit of a chat in.

Stopped at the Sainsbury super store to stock up on groceries for Fightcamp this weekend. Picked out a good selection of interesting beer to try out.

Opened the package when we got back - we are now the reluctant owners of two fencing plastrons.

It supppedly stops broken blades tearing into your armpit and into your chest cavity, which is good, but does mean even more kit. And they're hot. Sulk.

Sorted much of our packing and even had time for a nap, before an early dinner and joinning the Linacre School of Defence for a class.

Probably just what we needed, nice brisk class some fun, light rounds at the end. Had to finish up the packing when we got home, so the night unfortunately got kinda late.
